Clean Those Gutters!

Gutters help protect your home by redirecting water away from your foundation.  Too much water around your foundation can possibly cause soil erosion or penetration into the foundation.  Water penetration into the foundation can lead to other issues.  To prevent that, gutters channel water to downspouts which, when properly installed, lead water away from your foundation. What can happen if your gutters are dirty and clogged?  Instead of draining properly, water can drip over the rear edge of the gutter onto the fascia potentially causing fascia and eaves damage.   Water dripping over the front edge negates the effects having the gutter.  Keep them clean so that they are able to do their job and you will save money in repair costs.
